McKinney Climate Fellows
McKinney Climate Fellows (MCF) is a workforce development program connecting undergraduate and graduate students interested in climate, sustainability, and community resilience with career experiences. The program partners with Indiana-based private, public, and nonprofit organizations to host student fellows and provide solutions-based sustainability expertise.

IU Indianapolis Sustainability offers a variety of internship positions for both undergraduate and graduate students that directly address campus sustainability efforts. The United Nations (UN), describes the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as “the blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all.” The 17 interconnected goals address many global challenges, including those related to poverty, inequality, climate change, environmental degradation, peace and justice. The UN has called for all goals to be achieved by 2030.
