AASHE STARS

IUPUI is a proud member of AASHE, the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education. Among AASHE's resources is STARS - Sustainability Tracking, Assessment, and Rating System, a transparent, self-reporting framework for colleges and universities to measure their sustainability performance. With more than 900 participants in 40 countries, the STARS program is the most widely recognized framework in the world for publicly reporting comprehensive information related to a college or university’s sustainability performance.

Association for the Advancement of Higher Education

AASHE is the leading association for the advancement of sustainability in higher education. They serve a full range of higher education faculty, administrators, staff and students who are change agents and drivers of sustainability innovation. Established in 2005, AASHE is comprised of over 900 members across 48 U.S. states, 1 U.S. Territory, 9 Canadian provinces and 20 countries.
