Get to know Jessica
Jessica was appointed Associate Vice President and Chief Sustainability Officer in September 2023 to lead IU's Climate Action Plan. She is also Associate Faculty in the O'Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs. Jessica previously served as Director of IUPUI (now IU Indianapolis) Sustainability and Interim University Director of Sustainability of Indiana University.
Jessica has received state and national recognition for her sustainability efforts and expertise. Notably, she was named Women in Green Leadership Sheroe by the USGBC East North Central Region; Indiana Recycling Rock Star by Circular Indiana; Hoosier Resilience Hero by the IU Environmental Resilience Institute; and Environmental Innovator of the Year by the Green Sports Alliance.
