Sustainability and Resilience Conference

The Indiana Sustainability and Resilience Conference

IUPUI is the proud host of the Indiana Sustainability and Resilience Conference, made possible by the McKinney Family Foundation. The Conference is a productive, annual gathering of sustainability professionals and champions from across the state of Indiana

Presented by the Indianapolis Airport Authority, the 2021 Conference will introduce a new partnership with the Environmental Resilience Institute at Indiana University, hailing a new event format designed to produce actionable results. No longer a passive gathering, the Indiana Sustainability and Resilience Conference will take an active approach to training attendees in soft and hard skills that will facilitate climate action planning at organizations across our state.

2021 Indiana Sustainability and Resilience Conference

The 2021 Indiana Sustainability and Resilience Conference, presented by the Indianapolis Airport Authority, will explore the theme Accelerating Climate Action in Indiana to underscore the necessity of hastening climate action across sectors in Indiana.  As we have experienced, the impacts of climate change are being felt here and now.  It is imperative Indiana move from planning to taking action as quickly and boldly as possible.

The 2021 Conference will have a two-fold focus: (1) Training individuals on how to take climate action in their capacity, as individuals or at an organization; (2) Providing small-group consulting to sustainability professionals at Indiana organizations that have begun climate action planning to accelerate their plans into action and results.
